Alior Bank has announced the results of the enrolment procedure for the RBL_START program The challenge titled “More than a banking app” will be attended by three start-ups: Open Checkout, ViaCash and Telemedico. These three together with the team of the bank experts will work on the development of offer for customers within the Alior Mobile app. The bank aims at going beyond the standard services offered to date by mobile banking.
For “More than a banking app” challenge, the RBL_START team has been looking for business entities whose solutions contribute added value to customers using digital channels. The important selection criterion was whether they had already been operating on the market and how fast they could be used on a large scale.
“The appointed start-ups offer solutions whose implementation at Alior Mobile could significantly affect the experience of a customer using mobile banking. ViaCash works on enabling cash deposits and withdrawals in traditional stores by scanning barcode in the app. The Open Chechkout project focuses on maximum simplification of the data-entry process during the last stage of online shopping, such as delivery method, payment form, address details) While Telemedico wants to provide to its customers the remote medical consultation all day and night long”, says Konrad Radzik, coordinator of the RBL_START program.
Each start-up enrolled for the program will cooperate with a designated FinTech partner and a business mentor. Together, they will work out a model of potential cooperation. During the RBL_START program, they will have to prepare, among others, draft business plan of the project, IT integration model, as well as validate the solution during customer research.
