Ben Weiss becomes CEO and Kris Dayrit is President and COO

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#bitcoin–CoinFlip, the world’s leading cryptocurrency ATM operator, announced that Ben Weiss will take over as Chief Executive Officer and that Kris Dayrit will take over as President and Chief Operating Officer. Former CEO Daniel Polotsky will shift to serve as the company’s Chief Advisor.

Weiss, who co-founded CoinFlip in 2015 and served as its Chief Operating Officer, has led the company’s business strategy since day one and helped CoinFlip surpass nearly $65 million in fee revenue. He will now take on the responsibility of leading the company’s day-to-day management and steering its long-term growth.

“CoinFlip’s mission is to make cryptocurrency–a financial innovation with the power to transform our economy–accessible to all. We’re poised for incredible growth this year, and as we expand across the country, we will continue to provide safe and secure banking services to everyone who uses our ATMs,” Weiss said. “It’s that commitment that makes me so proud to lead this company.”

Dayrit, another co-founder who served as Chief of Marketing for CoinFlip, has been responsible for building CoinFlip’s brand and acquiring new locations. He will now take on an even greater management role as President and COO.

“Throughout my career at CoinFlip, I’ve seen our hard-working team consistently make sure that CoinFlip’s values are reflected in the company’s growth,” said Dayrit. “Our goal of providing everyone in the U.S. with access to cryptocurrency is furthered because of that commitment.”

Over the past several years, CoinFlip has expanded to over 2,200 ATMs across the country, maintaining a strong record of regulatory compliance to ensure the safety and security of its customers. The company will keep that central focus, as well as map out new opportunities internationally and across its product lines.

“After building out the top talent on our executive leadership team, it’s time for me to take a step back from the day-to-day operations to focus on CoinFlip’s larger strategy and to help advance the cryptocurrency industry as a whole,” said Polotsky. “The company is in excellent hands as it continues to lead the cryptocurrency ATM field.”
