POLAND, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pharmacy Data Management, Inc. (PDMI) and Internet Data Management, Inc. (IDMI) have officially been named top employers in Ohio for the second consecutive year.

The sister companies were named to the annual list of the Best Employers in Ohio. Created by Best Companies Group in partnership with Crain’s Cleveland Business and Crain’s Content Studio-Cleveland, the program identifies and honors those organizations that most benefit the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Selections are based on employee surveys evaluating workplace policies, practices, and systems. There are two employer categories: Small/Medium (15 – 249) and Large (250 or more). PDMI was ranked #24 in the Small/Medium category.

“Our mission is one of better health and dedicated to the concept of whole-person wellness,” said Doug Wittenauer, CEO of both organizations. “We have an outstanding team who works to fulfill that mission each and every day not just through their interaction with our clients but in their creation of an environment focused on inclusiveness, community, and creating fulfilling personal and professional lives.”

Over the past year, several new policies and programs have been implemented in the organizations based on employee feedback, including Paid Parental Leave, a Voluntary Life Insurance Policy, and a floating, year-round holiday that employees can use for the religious holiday or cultural celebration of their choice. Further, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council was formed to create a roadmap for DEI initiatives and to establish a soon-to-be released diversity statement.

“We are honored by this award, but moreover, we’re proud of our team members and the important work they do each and every day,” said Tom Faloon, PDMI COO. “It’s our team who has made this recognition possible, and we are so grateful that they have chosen PDMI and IDMI as their employers.”
