Prebuilt connectors provide seamless access to more than 180 data sources

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Trifacta, the Data Engineering Cloud company, today announced it is expanding its platform’s data integration capabilities by providing universal data connectivity to more than 180 data sources. These pre-built connectors make it faster and easier for more users in organizations of any size to connect to more data.

“At Trifacta, we realize the importance of providing broad connectivity in a secure, self-serve, and scalable manner,” said Sean Kandel, CTO and Co-Founder, Trifacta. “Universal data connectivity helps our customers address their requirements by enabling them to connect to different sources with ease, and at the speed and scale they require for their businesses.”

To build curated, accessible data products for advanced data insights and analytics, data engineers and analysts need flexible, seamless access to data, regardless of its source. Universal connectivity greatly expands the scope of use cases possible with the Trifacta platform. With this announcement, Trifacta is making it easier to connect to any data source for a wide range of use cases and applications.

“Data is generated in multiple applications, making it distributed and fragmented. It’s critical for us to connect directly to these heterogeneous data sources to consume the data to achieve meaningful insights,” said Marc Levin, Head of Data Analytics, Yumens. “We are extremely pleased with this announcement from Trifacta towards universal data connectivity that will help us connect to data sources such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Hubspot, MS SQL Server, MS Dynamics CRM, and others. This will help our teams consume data easily and quickly, empowering them to deliver insights for our customers with advanced analytics and reporting.”

The Trifacta platform already offers connectivity to a wide range of data sources, including files, databases, and applications. Universal connectivity expands the range of use cases possible with the Trifacta platform, including but not limited to:

Collaboration and Support

Teams can now work more efficiently and provide best-in-class service to clients through sources such as SmartSheet, Airtable, Confluence, Microsoft Sharepoint, and JIRA.

Resource Planning and Visibility

Organizations can now create 360-degree views of leads, customers, and other resources by connecting to large scale applications, such as SAP ERP, SAP HANA, and Microsoft Dynamics.

Finance and Accounting

Organizations of any size—from small businesses to large enterprises—can now connect to data in leading financial services applications, such as Workday, Netsuite, Xero, ADP, Quickbooks, and Sage.

Marketing, Sales, e-Commerce

Trifacta now supports connectors to leading market analysis tools, such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, as well as e-commerce leaders Amazon Marketplace and Shopify.

Cloud Data Warehouses and Databases

Data Engineers and Analysts can connect to all leading Cloud Data Warehouses and Databases, including BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Teradata, and Hive.

Files & File Systems

Trifacta supports connectivity to files and file systems, such as S3, GCS, ADLS, HDFS, SFTP, JSON, XML, Excel, and Google Sheets.

Cloud Data Exchanges

For connectivity not available out of the box, Trifacta also provides an extensible framework for customers to add additional connectivity on their own.
