Mr. Toshiya Sato will spearhead Upstream’s accelerated growth in the region; Upstream also releases the Japanese edition of its 2024 Global Automotive Cybersecurity Report

Mr. Sato will support the continued growth and expansion of Upstream’s activities in Japan. This latest appointment reinforces Upstream’s commitment to the Japanese market, providing cutting-edge cybersecurity and data management solutions aimed at safeguarding connected vehicles and IoT devices.

Prior to that, Mr. Sato held various leadership roles at Fujitsu for over 30 years. In his latest leadership position with Fujitsu, Mr. Sato served as the Head of Mobility & Logistic Global Offering, focused on supporting Japanese corporations, accelerating product development and boosting global competitiveness. Mr. Sato advocated strongly for innovation and introduced startups to the Japanese market to expand the adoption of advanced IoT, AI and cybersecurity technologies.

In addition to this new appointment, Upstream announced today the release of the Japanese edition of its 2024 Global Automotive Cybersecurity Report.
